This is a blog about my thoughts, feelings and emotions in facing the fact that my little girl - my only child - is graduating from high school in a year. I will eventually publish this into a book, to give to her at her graduation. I am starting this now, because I already feel the loss in my heart and am overwhelmed with the bittersweetness of it all. She has been the true joy in my life and she has been a light so bright, that she simply radiates sunshine. Her name is MaKenna.
